The Pursuit of Happiness

I know you’ve probably been wondering where I have been. Let’s get to it…

I quit my job. I quit to transition into interior design. I am now working in the design industry and I couldn’t be happier. I am finally chasing my passion and it feels amazing. I work for the interior division of a to the trade only textile company. Although I have only been there for a week, I know it is the right place for me.

It is amazing to wake up every morning happy to go to work. Before, I was working  just to get by. I was trying to figure out my next move and I was miserable.

I started this blog for sanity reasons. Yes. Seriously. I needed a creative outlet where I could talk about something that made me happy. I am so happy to be moving forward. I am finally working in the design industry!

I also submitted my application for an interior design master’s program. I am so nervous! I hope to hear back soon!

Lastly, I have been working on something. See it here! I can’t wait to share more. I am still working on it. I will announce an official launch date soon.

Oh, one more thing. My Macbook is shot. I’ve had it since 2007 and it’s definetely time to get a new one. I plan to purchase a new one in the next two weeks. Until I get my hands on my new Macbook Pro, I’ll be posting 1-2 times a week.
